Common questions

How do I set up Stripe for payments?

Go to Settings in Billdr and tap "Connect Stripe." If you don't have a Stripe account, you can create one for free at stripe.com — it takes about 10 minutes. Once connected, every invoice will automatically include a payment link.

How do I convert a quote to an invoice?

Open the job, mark it Completed, then tap "Create Invoice." Your labour and materials costs carry across automatically. GST is calculated and the invoice generates as a PDF ready to send.

Can I customise my invoice with my logo?

Yes — add your business name, ABN and contact details in Settings. These appear on every invoice and quote you generate.

Is Billdr's GST calculation correct for my BAS?

Billdr calculates GST at 10% as a convenience. Always verify your invoices with your accountant before lodging BAS. Billdr is not a registered tax agent and its calculations should not be used as a substitute for professional tax advice.

How do I cancel my Billdr Pro subscription?

Go to iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Billdr → Cancel Subscription. All billing is handled by Apple — we cannot process refunds directly. Contact Apple Support for billing disputes.

My jobs aren't syncing across devices

Cloud sync is a Billdr Pro feature. Ensure you're signed into the same Apple ID on both devices and that iCloud is enabled. If issues persist, email hello@billdr.com.au with your device details.

Can I export my job and invoice data?

Contact hello@billdr.com.au and we can assist with data export requests.
