Terms of Use

The terms that apply when you use Billdr. Key point: you own your data.

Tax disclaimer: Billdr generates invoices and calculates GST but is not a registered tax agent and does not provide tax advice. Always consult a qualified accountant for your specific tax obligations.

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Billdr ("App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Cameron Ivey-Drayton ("we", "us").

Billdr is an iOS application that provides:

Billdr calculates GST at 10% on invoices as a convenience feature. It is not tax advice. You are responsible for ensuring your invoices meet ATO requirements for your specific business situation. Billdr is not a registered tax agent. Always consult a qualified accountant or registered tax agent for your tax obligations.

4. Stripe payments

The Stripe payment integration is provided by Stripe, Inc. under Stripe's own terms of service. You must create and maintain a valid Stripe account and comply with Stripe's terms. Billdr is not responsible for any payment processing issues, fees or disputes managed through Stripe.

5. Free tier and subscriptions

The free tier allows up to 3 jobs with no time limit and no credit card required. Billdr Pro is a paid subscription managed through Apple's App Store. Billing, refunds and cancellations are handled by Apple under their standard terms.

6. Your data

You own your job and customer data. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

7. Acceptable use

You must not: reverse engineer or decompile the App; use it for any unlawful purpose; use it to generate false or fraudulent invoices; or resell or redistribute it without written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is." We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that GST calculations will be accurate for your specific tax situation. Always verify invoices with a qualified accountant before lodging BAS or making tax claims.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of Billdr, including any tax liability, incorrect invoices, or payment processing issues.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
